Frampton has earned three wins since moving up to featherweight, but the world title tilt marks a huge step forward in the division for the 29-year-old.

Quigg will have to compete in enemy territory in LA against the Mexican, who has fought across America in his 23-0 career.

StubHub Center in Carson is set to be the venue for the fight, which will take place outdoors.

There are only minor details to iron out between the two camps with the contracts set to be signed in the coming days.
