Marko Arnautovic is out of West Ham‘s clash with Tottenham on Thursday evening.

The Austria international has been in sublime form for the Hammers in recent weeks with four goals in his last five Premier League appearances.

But Arnautovic failed to make the bench for the fixture against Spurs at the London Stadium.

The 28-year-old is sidelined due to a hamstring injury, while Aaron Cresswell also misses out due to a back problem.

‘He’s got an injury as well, he’s been really important to us, Marko,’ West Ham boss David Moyes told Sky Sports before the match against Spurs.

‘But not fit to play tonight.’

The full extent of the Arnautovic’s injury is not yet known but it’s unlikely that he will play any part in West Ham’s trip to Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup third round on Sunday.
