EXCLUSIVE:Netflix has preemptively acquired film rights to Tell Me Everything, an upcoming thriller novel from Cambria Brockman. Michael Sugars company Sugar23 brought in the project and will produce the adaptation with Anonymous Content and Aevitas Creative Management.
Brockmans debut novel, which Ballantine recently acquired at auction for a June 2019 street date, is set at an elite college in small-town New England and follows the shifting alliances and romantic entanglements of six tight-knit students — until one of them is murdered. Aevitas Lori Galvin and Lane Zachary sold the book rights.
Sugar23s head of production Ashley Zalta IDd the project and will produce alongside Sugar and Aevitas Todd Shuster. Anonymous Contents Nicole Clemens and Aevitas Galvin will executive produce.
Sugar, the longtime manager-producer at Anonymous Content whose producing credits include Oscar Best Picture winner Spotlight, launched Sugar23 last fall and has a multi-year first-look deal with AC where he remains in the fold.
