Announcing their debut live appearance at the awards on Twitter today (24 April), BTS will certainly be looking to make a splash during the ceremony – which will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on 20 May.

The boy band are up for just the one solitary award this year – in the Top Social Artist category – but theyll be sure to make a big impact with their appearance at the ceremony even if they dont walk away with the prize.
Theyll be vying for that award with some big-name competitors, including Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Shawn Mendes.
Though as its a fan-voted award, were pretty confident that the BTS Army will be mobilising en masse to ensure that their boys scoop the award.
Elsewhere, the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran and Cardi B will be hoping to toast to a successful year by picking up an award or two – the three artists are among the acts to have received the most nominations at this years Billboard Music Awards.
