St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina took a ball straight to the groin over the weekend, and the video will send shivers down your spine.
Molina took the 102 MPH fastball to the groin after Chicago Cubs star Kris Bryant nicked it. The video is downright brutal.

Not surprisingly, Molina needed immediate surgery.
Can confirm Yadier Molina underwent what sounds like just awful emergency surgery last night, and is expected to miss a month, according to a source.
Carson Kelly is expected to be activated today. #STLCards

The #STLCards have recalled catcher Carson Kelly and RHP Mike Mayers from Memphis (AAA) and have placed Yadier Molina and RHP Dominic Leone on the 10-day disabled list. Molina has undergone surgery for his injury and the team projects that he will miss at least four weeks. pic.twitter.com/1VyzJ3rho6

Theres not a guy on this planet who can watch that video without immediately feeling pain. Ive taken a few shots to the groin during my days of playing sports, and its a pain unlike anything Ive ever felt before. You feel like your soul has been ripped out of your body.
I really dont even have the words to describe the sympathy I have for a dude who took a 102 MPH fastball to the groin. Thats the stuff of horrifying nightmares.
Hopefully, Molina makes a quick and fully recovery. Taking a shot like that to the groin isnt something Id wish on my own worst enemy.
