Kidnapper Beth turns nasty with Amelia as she plans her next move in Emmerdale
(Picture: ITV)

Up until this point, Amelia Spencer has been happy living with Beth in her flat and away from her arguing family in Emmerdale. Beth has groomed her over chat rooms to believe that she is better away from Dan, Daz and Kerry and Amelia ran away to live with Beth after the discovery that Daz is her biological father led to a huge family row.

Beth has an underlying grudge against Daz relating to a colossal mistake he made back in 2009 which saw him accidentally shoot dead a fellow soldier during a live training exercise. While Dazs name was cleared, Beth wants revenge and Amelia is her key to doing so.

She has told the youngster that she too has no family she can rely on and they have to stick together. She has cut off Amelias contact with the outside world, falsely reporting back to her that no-one is looking for her or has even mentioned her disappearance.

But as Amelia started to miss her dad and tried to reach out to him on her phone, Beth caught her and released an angry outburst, leaving Amelia shaken. As Amelia tearfully promised not to let her down, Beths facade had slipped – but how much danger is Amelia in from her?

Its clear that Beth is prepared to go to extreme lengths as she was also seen receiving delivery of a voice disguiser – meaning that she is going to make contact with the Spencers. But when Daz later receives a demand for ransom, can he get the cash together and bring Amelia home?
