Weve met Coronation Street legend Sue Nicholls a number of times and we would struggle to name a more warm, accommodating or friendly person. But it turns out that she does have her snapping point like all of us – and just knows that it would come if she ever went on Celebrity Big Brother.
As rumours persist on who will or wont be entering the infamous house – were talking big names like the Chuckle Brothers here – one person you wont see is Sue, best known for playing salon owner Audrey Roberts.
The popular actress was offered big bucks to go into the show but has declined it as she thinks she would be horrible during a stay in the prison cunningly shaped like a house.
She told the Daily Star: I couldnt do Big Brother. Ive told them no. I couldnt bear it. I dont want to have to do stuff like my teeth in front of half the nation. dont even like people that much. I would be horrible – I would be the worst housemate.
However, not every Corrie star feels the same – other Weatherfield alumni who have enjoyed a stay in the house (well enjoyed might be a stretch) include Ken Morley, Amanda Barrie, Denise Welch and Claire King.
Ken was instructed to leave during his tenure for inappropriate behaviour and offensive slurs. So while Sue reckons shed be a horrible housemate, it could always be worse.
The series starts later in the summer and is said to include Love Islands Gabby Allen with the theme being retribution.
