He may have featured in Thor, but now Zachary Levi is taking the reigns in his own movie Shazam.
The actor proudly attended San Diegos Comic Con to debut the movies official trailer.
In the short clip Billy Batson, the boy who becomes Shazam, is battling foster care and goes home to meet his new foster brother.
The youngster can be seen having a rough time with bullies, as he flees the scene only to end up meeting a strange man who has a lightening bolt blaring from his chest.
In a flash of light, Billy turns into a full grown man in a superhero suit – and confused by what happens he runs home to seek help from his brother.
The pair go out and test his powers, by zapping peoples phones in the mall and learning his is immune to bullets when they get caught up in a robbery.
Just before the trailer aired, Levi gave a short speech where he joked: Jason Momoa gave me this Guiness. Im having a great day.
He then confessed that playing the character Shazam was a complete wish fulfillment before adding: And the whole movies about wish fulfillment.
The star then went on to describe the difficulties of playing a child trapped inside an adults body.
Pointing at Asher Angel, the actor who plays young Billy, he said: When he says “Shazam” and turns into me, Im still him, just me. Glad we went through that. But I still have to play it like this knucklehead.
Its difficult. The way he poses sometimes is so Asher Angel.
The movie is directed by David F. Sandberg and is set to hit the big screens on 5 April, 2019.
