Lord Of The Rings actor Dominic Monaghan is also said to have signed up to Episode 9 to be part of the all star cast, along with fellow Star Wars newbie actors Naomi Ackie, Richard E. Grant and Keri Russell.
Samuel L Jackson is up for reprising his role too, except for the fact he was killed off in Revenge Of The Sith.
The film will feature never-before-seen footage of the late Carrie Fisher, as she will appear as Leia via unused footage from The Force Awakens.
JJ Abrams is at the head of the project, having directed The Force Awakens.
Filming is already underway, with production set to be just outside of London as John Boyega and Chewy have both been spotted on set.
