They came in to the show as allies but recently, the bond between Joe Tate and Graham Foster appears to have irrevocably broken down in Emmerdale – to the point where Joe is now contemplating bringing about his associates death to get him out of the way.
Joe is making plans for the future with Debbie Dingle and Home Farm and he is ignoring Grahams repeated and urgent warnings to protect his assets legally. With Joe tiring of Grahams involvement, he is nevertheless unnerved that he appears to be a step ahead.
Graham has been making calls to an unknown person to warn them of Joes actions – and that has since turned out to be the mighty Kim Tate who is set to show up at the imminent masquerade ball.
Whatever Graham is up to, Joe doesnt like it so when Connor – the man who Graham dealt with not long ago – turns up with a gun and lashes out at Joe as he hunts for Graham, Joe spies a grim opportunity.
He makes a deal with Connor – he will make sure that Graham is at Home Farm the next day so that he can return and kill him. As Joe makes himself scarce, Connor strikes and overpowers Graham, leaving him bound up and staring death in the face.
Connor gloats that he is going to enjoy every moment of killing Graham but meanwhile, Joe is having regrets about what he has done. Is it too late to save Graham?
And if Graham does survive, will he be aware that Joe almost sacrificed him – and plan an even more final revenge in retaliation?
