Unable to cope with the death of Joe Tate, a guilty Cain Dingle has decided to take a break from Emmerdale, leaving behind little explanation for his confused other half Moira as he disappears to try and get his head together.

Graham Foster is currently hiding the fact from Cain that he actually dealt the killer blow to Joe, not Cain. Thinking he is a murderer is not sitting well with Cain and Moira has been trying to get to the bottom of what is going on.

As the pressure mounted and the police started asking questions about Joes whereabouts, Cain lost it and overturned the kitchen table. But rather than confiding in Moira, he has taken Grahams advice to have a holiday and has left only a short note for Moira to find.

With Graham having worried that Cain would give the game away to police, he is no doubt relieved by him taking some time away but its bound to make Moira even more suspicious – why would Cain take a holiday without explaining why, particularly with Sarah in hospital and Debbie in prison?

Much to the relief of fans, this isnt a permanent exit for Cain and he will be back before the end of the month. And Moira will want answers – this isnt going to go away.

Will he reveal the truth about what happened with Joe and will she support him in his hour of need?
