Taylor Swift has touched down in Brisbane ahead of the Australian leg of her Reputation Stadium Tour kicking off on Friday night.
The pop superstars private jet landed in the Queensland capital on Thursday following a successful trek run in the United States – and some fans just couldnt contain their excitement.
Two eager superfans were seen patiently waiting behind a chain link fence at Brisbane Airport, greeting the aircraft with excited waves and no doubt hoping to score a glimpse of the American star.
But Taylor wasnt pictured hopping off the jet with her team.
As the aircraft waited on the tarmac, reportedly only touching down temporarily to refuel and collect supplies before jetting off to the tours first stop in Perth, airport staff and Taylors personal team were seen milling about the plane.
Workers dressed in fluorescent vests were pictured loading luggage and bags of ice onto the aircraft, while Taylors team took the opportunity to step down from the jet and stretch their legs.
However, the Blank Space singer failed to emerge from the private jet.
Her no-show likely came as a disappointment to her young fans, who, dressed in summer attire and donning Taylor Swift tour T-shirts, continued to dance and wave behind their fenced post in a bid to entice their favourite singer out.
Following her stop in Brisbane, Taylor was in for a five-hour flight across the country to Perth, where she will take to the stage at the Optus Stadium alongside support acts Charli XCX and Broods.
The 28-year-old will then make the three-hour flight to Melbourne for a show at the Marvel Stadium on October 26, ahead of performances in Sydney, Brisbane and, later, Auckland in New Zealand to round off the Oceania leg.
According to reports, Taylor touched down in Cairns on Monday to enjoy some downtime before the tour kicks off.
Her arrival is thought to have gone largely unnoticed amid the media frenzy surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, who kicked off their first royal tour as a married couple in the country earlier this week.
The overseas tour was bolstered by the announcement of the couples first pregnancy, with the royal baby expected to arrive next spring.
