Coronation Street looks set to be lining up some devastating scenes next year as the fears of fans have grown that Sinead Tinker will due following her battle with cancer. The young mum-to-be is refusing to consider the option of terminating her pregnancy which means that she will be unable to undergo much of her treatment as it would damage her unborn child.

Having already lost a baby, Sinead has already made her decision clear that her baby must come first and that could mean sacrificing herself. Coronation Street tonight aired the heartbreaking scenes which saw Sinead break down in tears after being diagnosed with the disease.

Daniel Osbourne remains in the dark that his wife is facing any kind of health worries and continues to bask in the happiness of being married and having a baby on the way. A family life is all he has ever hoped for but it could send him over the rails when it is all snatched away from him by tragedy.

That is why Sinead is trying her best to avoid him finding out and, after confiding in a shocked Ken Barlow, she orders him not to breathe a word to Daniel. But as Sinead continues on her frightening journey alone, will she be able to cope without Daniels support?

With her having made up her mind not to end her pregnancy, will Daniel agree with her decision if and when he finds out?

Katie McGlynn, who plays her, recently insisted to that Daniel would stand by Sinead no matter what. She explained to us: Because she knows what happened about how Daniel reacted last time, shes terrified of telling him – he will be devastated. She sees how happy he is, she has to deal with his herself. She loves him so much that she doesnt want to break his heart.

But they are becoming a very strong couple and will be able to get through anything together. I dont think this will push him away – he will be hesitant but he loves her too much to push her away, especially in this position. He does love her and she is pregnant with his child but I dont think he will walk away.
