Steve Aoki couldnt be more thrilled to be at number one with his new BTS collaboration.

The 40-year-old is riding high at the top of the global iTunes chart with their latest single Waste It On Me, which fans are clearly loving.

Reacting to the songs success, Steve told TMZ: Number one around the world. I cannot believe it dude. [I found out] like five minutes.

Its so crazy, its literally the craziest day ever. First number one in the US, around the world obviously.

Surprisingly, Steve has never topped the charts despite releasing a string of popular dance tracks and working with the likes of Louis Tomlinson, Migos, Adam Lambert and 2 Chainz.

Continuing to express his excitement over his latest achievement, Steve added: Im losing my mind.

BTS Army have gone wild for the single, particularly because it features them singing the entire song in English.

More: BTS

Its not the first time Steve has teamed with BTS – the pair collaborated on the previous song Mic Drop, which also proved popular amassing over 365 million views on YouTube.

There will be plenty of new BTS music ahead as the South Korean boy band are releasing solo music. RM is preparing to drop Mono while J-Hope treated the Army to his Hope World mixtape earlier this year.
