A Thor: Ragnorak character could be making a huge return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the future.
Well, if actor Karl Urban has his way.
The 46-year-old pondered whether there was another Marvel character hed like to play and it looks as though Karl just cant tear himself away from his Ragnorak on-screen alter-ego.
Speaking during a panel at Dallas Fan Days 2018 on Sunday, Karl said: Skurge, before jokingly adding: Skurged be a good one to be. I dont know if I could ever do it, but if I could, itd be that one. Listen, I dont know.
Thats a really great question. I dont know, I havent even thought about the possibility of doing anything else in that world. And I dont know if you even can, once you play something in the Marvel Universe, I dont know if you can come back and be someone else. Can you?
According to ComicBook.com, Karl also revealed himself to be a fan of Ryan Reynolds performance in Deadpool and would love to join the popular franchise.
Karl told the audience: Id love to be in a Deadpool movie. Ive seen Julian Dennison [whos from] New Zealand was in Deadpool 2.
I love Deadpool and I certainly, when I watched the first one I saw that there were similarities, particularly in the opening sequence, that reminded me a lot of, and I think they drew some inspiration from, Dredd, at least cinematographically the way Dredd was shot.
Expressing his admiration for Ryan in the lead role, the New Zealand actor added: Sorry. Dredd was a little bit before its time in terms of being an “R” rated comic book movie. I thought Deadpool was fantastic and Ryan Reynolds is just a beast. Yeah. He did such a good job on that.
