But Nicki Minaj just rained all over Cardis parade by claiming she has been turning down a collaboration with Fashion Nova for over a year.
Whats more, the man behind the Nickis recent Diesel FW18 campaign has now called BS on Cardis suggestion that Nicki was second choice.
In a since deleted message, Wilhelmina CEO Bill Wackerman said: Tell the truth Boo! That Diesel campaign was built AROUND the one and only Queen.
And Nicki had the last laugh when she wrote: Poor baby has no idea Fashion Nova asked me to do that deal she has for over a year.
Nicki had been staying well back as Cardis Instagram tirade escalated because Diesels campaign is, ironically, an anti-online bullying one.
But Cardi had provoked Nicki on Monday night by suggesting that the rap on Little Mixs new hit Woman Like Me was intended for Cardi.
Cardi said: That Diesel deal that you got, yeah that came to me first and I had to decline it because Im already working with fashion brands. Which yall are gonna see because theres more than Fashion Nova.
She then aired the audio for Little Mixs hit to prove that it was sent to her before Nicki jumped on the track.
Then, Cardi continued. That Woman Like Me record… Yeah I had to decline it because Im doing a lot of pop records so I cant over exaggerate myself but that came to me first.
Cardi launched her takedown on Monday night after Nicki announced that she will pay out $100,000 (£78,000) in exchange for the video of her epic brawl with Cardi during New York Fashion Week in September.
The female rappers literally came to blows after Cardi, 26, confronted her rival over alleged comments about her daughter Kulture.
It resulted in the Bodak Yellow rapper being escorted out of the venue with a nasty looking bump on her forehead while Nicki emerged unscathed.
Recalling how the fight went down in her eyes, Nicki said: Rah [Ali] really, really beat Cardis ass bad. Like really bad… The hardest punches youve ever heard in your life.
Nicki also used her popular Queen radio platform on Apple to deny leaking Cardis phone number to her fanbase, The Barbz.
Cardis younger sister Hennessy went public with accusations that Nicki was to blame for death threats sent to Cardi and her daughter Kulture because she had leaked the rappers phone number.
