Stan Lee, co-creator of iconic superheroes like Spider-Man, Thor, The Incredible Hulk and The X-Men, passed away on Monday. He was also the former editor-in-chief and publisher of Marvel Comics. Lee was also known for making cameo appearances in Marvel films.

Lee was declared dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, according to Kirk Schenck, an attorney for Lees daughter J.C. Lee. He was 95.

Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities took to social media to offer their thanks, remembrances and condolences in the wake of Marvel legend Stan Lees demise.

Stan Lee co-created superheroes like Spider-Man, The Hulk, Doctor Strange, The Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Black Panther, The X-Men, Ant-Man, Iron Man and Thor.
