Chloe Brennan has bitten off more than she can chew with her relationship with Pierce in Neighbours.
And things are about to come to a head as things escalate beyond her control and shes left running for hills – literally.
After Pierce makes it clear he wants more than business, Chloe is left panicking as thats not at all what she wants. But she gets herself into a sticky situation when she realises her relationship with Pierce will directly affect Tereses plan to oust Paul Robinson, and feels shell have to forge ahead.
Initially Chloe does really like Pierce and she initiates taking the relationship further, but shes not up for anything serious or long term which shes quite clear about, and he agrees, actress April Rose Pengilly revealed to Metro.co.uk. But as time goes on it sort of becomes clear he is looking for more and he feels more strongly about Chloe, and thats not what she wants. Shes dealing with her Huntingtons diagnosis and feels that no one would want a long term relationship with her if they knew about her diagnosis as it limits her life and it will be quite full on towards the end.
April added that Pierce becomes determined in his quest to get her to change her mind.
Hes used to getting what he wants, she said. She feels she cant get out of it and doesnt want to jeopardise the deal hes made with Terese, so she gets coerced into going along. She believes she can get him to finalise the deal while theyre away and then itll be over, but hes not interested in doing business. Chloe feels trapped and isnt sure what to do.
Feeling the pressure, Chloe decides to go on the run and ropes Elly into helping her escape. But can she really leave her brothers?
She asks Elly to bring her her passport and to pack up all of her stuff for her which is quite a big ask, she laughed. But Elly tries to convince her she cant leave under those circumstances, and she needs to stay and face the music.
She needs to give it a good go in Erinsborough, repairing her relationship with her brothers. She shouldnt throw it all away.
But will April listen to her friend and decide to face the music, or will she scarper and leave a wake of destruction behind her?
