What is it about?
Allow yourself to be whisked back to the beautiful Greek island of Kalokairi as Sophie and co return for the sequel.
It picks up five years after the 2008 original, with Sophie now pregnant and learning about her mum Donnas past.
Told through flashbacks and the present day, the story follow Donnas younger years where she found herself lacking a steady mother figure.
It follows her steps to Greece where she ends up running a hotel, while ultimately wondering who the father of her daughter is.
Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again takes the audience back and forth in time to show how relationships forged in the past still resonate in the present.
Where was it filmed?
Mamma Mia! – the original 2008 movie – was filmed in a number of locations.
Mainly filming in Greece, the film crews also visited California, Morocco, London and Pinewood Studios.
Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again was largely filmed in Croatia, however, although some filming was also done in Pinewood Studios.
The decision to ditch Greece was made in a bid to save money, with filming taking place on the stunning Croatian island of Vis.
Its been 10 years since the first film whisked us away to a magical Greek island where life was lived through Abba songs.
What about the music?
Luckily, you can still expect all your favourites from the first movie, as well as some extras added in.
