We best know Zac Efron as basketball star turned showtunes king Troy Bolton in the High School Musical films – but his latest role is an entirely different kettle of fish.
The 31-year-old plays Ted Bundy in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, and the actor has given us a first look at him in character as the notorious serial killer.
A still shared to Zacs Instagram sees him wearing a blue suit and a patterened tie, while sporting wavy locks; the image appears to have come from a court scene.
Zac captioned the pic: Ready for Sundance!
The film will be premiering at Sundance Film Film Festival in January 2019, and weve gotta say – we cannot wait.
The movie is shown from the perspective of the killers girlfriend Elizabeth Kloeper, played by Lily Collins, as she struggles to accept the reality of her boyfriends nature.
Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile also stars Kaya Scodelario as Carole Anne Boone, Jim Parsons as Larry Simpson, John Malkovich as Judge Edward Cowart, and Haley Joel Osment as Detective Mike Fisher.
