Alfie Moon and Hayley Slater continue to grow close in EastEnders but she could be heading for heartbreak as Alfies interest seems to be in keeping Hayley sweet so that he can be a part of his daughters life – after all, his heart actually lies with his wife, Kat.

Alfie is playing with fire as Kat is oblivious to the fact that Hayleys baby is Alfies but Alfie wants to find a way of maintaining his relationship with Kat while also being a dad to Hayleys child. Good luck with that!

He is in full on Christmas planning mode, determined to make it perfect for Kat, and starts delegating tasks to the Slaters. But Jean issues him with a warning that he cant keep burning this very explosive candle at both ends.

Alfie dismisses this though and throws himself into forming a plan to solve the overcrowding issue at the Slater house while also proving that he can step up for Hayley and the baby. But as he announces what he plans to do, how will the members of the household take to his idea – and will is raise suspisions around his motives?
