Ariana Grande joins performers Childish Gambino and Tame Impala on an epic Coachella line-up for 2019.
Just when you thought shed peaked in 2018, the Thank U, Next hitmaker has been announced as a headliner for the Sunday night shows on 14 and 21 of April next year in Indio, California.
This Is America rapper Childish Gambino will open the weekend as Fridays big performer, while psychedelic rock band Tame Impala take the Saturday slot.
The performers were announced on the official Coachella Twitter page on Wednesday night to really fire everyone up for summer.
Among the big names are The 1975, Khalid and Solange, along with K-Pop girlband BLACKPINK who have stated their intention for US domination in 2019.
Nestled into the eclectic line-up is a little throwback from Weezer, Will Smiths US rapper son Jaden and actor-turned-DJ extraordinaire Idris Elba.
However, Kanye West is noticeably absent from this years line-up, who everyone was convinced would be taking one of the headline slots this year, for a second time.
Justin Timberlake – another throwback there – was also tipped for a headline slot at the Californian desert music festival in 2019 but seems nowhere to be seen.
Nevertheless, 2019s line-up will have a tough job trying to beat BaeChella – who could forget Beyonces all-round epic performance (in which she reunited Destinys Child) in 2018.
