Charlie Simpson has given us all hope once again as hes revealed that Busted will never split up again.
Be still our noughties-obsessed hearts.
After the bands heartbreaking split back in 2004 (were still not over it), Charlie reunited with James Bourne and Matt Willis in 2015, giving us the nostalgia fix we were yearning for.
The Year 3000 hit maker has now opened up about how the importance of being open with his band mates and how that means the band will never have to fully split again.
We take each year as it comes and were definitely at the point where we want to do some other projects, he revealed to Metro.co.uk.
The 33-year-old added: Weve all been very open from the start when we got back together, and we all have other things wed like to do.
Its important we get to do them as well as doing the band. It means that the band never has to split up again – there might be times where we take some time out and then come back to it.
Having just released their fourth album Halfway There back in February, which is a nostalgia fix we never thought wed experience after the first time round, the band have come back kicking.
Back in 2015 they released Night Driver, which was a stark contrast to the Busted we came to know and love.
Speaking at the time, James said: The last thing we wanted to do was try to recreate what we used to have. It belongs to that time. All real artists evolve, all real artists try things, its unnatural not to.
Describing the bands new sound, Matt Willis added: As soon as we started making music it became very apparent that we all wanted to make exactly the same thing. Wed been listening to dance and pop producers like Skrillex and Max Martin who both started off in rock bands.
Meanwhile, Charlie elaborated:On this record were older, weve had completely different experiences than what wed have been talking about ten years ago.
Its an authentic reflection of who we are today.
Turns out we love the new Busted with ever fibre of our beings just as much as old Busted.
