Sigur Rós are set to brighten up any uber-cool music lovers summer, as they have announced a free performance in London.
The Icelandic band will be taking their incredible live ambient performance, Liminal, to Londons Hyde Park on 9 July as part of British Summer Time.
Liminal is Sigur Róss ambient music arm, and is hoping to create the biggest sound bath event to date to inspire revellers to slow and down and focus on their senses.
The performance will draw from the entire Sigur Rós catalogue, from albums, film scores and solo work, as well as airing new material.
Sigur Rós producer and artist Alex Somers said: Music heals. Sound heals. Hopefully these shows can move people and they leave in an altered state.
Music can offer us these profound experiences in an instant, and so often when you least expect it.
