Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) is about to take a step too far and kick off a horrifying chain of events in EastEnders that could see both Billy (Perry Fenwick) and his young son Will die in a horrifying twist. With Billy being savvy to what Ben is up to in attempting to destroy Phil (Steve McFadden), the vengeful local decided it was time to silence him forever – and he hired a hitman to kill him.
Insisting that he make it look like a tragic accident, Ben pointed Billy out to the assassin and smiled smugly to himself as he quietly bid goodbye to Billy, thinking that his problems were over. However, he should think again as he is about to put a young child in the assassins path as the so-called accident unfolds.
Phil has a job for Billy and as he heads out on the errand, Will goes with his dad. When Ben gets wind of the fact that Will is out with Billy, he is horrified as what he has panned to happen would affect them both.
