If youre going to start Dressing Funny, even Tan France needs to call in the experts. Thats what brought Wine Country pals and Saturday Night Live alum Rachel Dratch and Tina Fey to the Queer Eye stars new Netflix web-series, wherein Dratch tried out a little Ariana Grande chic and an S.N.L. classic got a 2019 update.

The clip in question sees Dratch and Fey joining the ongoing Dressing Funny series with the goal of outfitting Dratch in some new looks for her 50th birthday. (Between this and the plot of Wine Country, Dratchs 50th birthday has gotten a national-holiday-level of celebration—as it should be.) The Ariana Grande sweatshirt-and-boots style isnt quite the right fit—Fey jokes, “When youre Ariana and youre 26, you wear this. When a woman our age wears this, its a mental-health issue”—but Dratch does find some comfort in a black “dirty bitch” skirt and platform Stella McCartney sneakers.

The gag wouldnt be complete without calling back to one of Feys own legendary fashion contributions to pop culture—the 2003 “Mom Jeans” Saturday Night Live sketch that featured Fey, Dratch, Maya Rudolph and Amy Poehler.
