Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is considering giving Mason Greenwood a more prominent role at Manchester United following their slow start to the season, according to reports.

United opened the new Premier League campaign with a 4-0 victory over Chelsea at Old Trafford but since then they have not registered a win as they were held by Wolves and Southampton and beaten at home by Crystal Palace.

Solskjaer is light on attacking options having allowed both Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku to leave the club last month.

Greenwood, meanwhile, has played just 47 minutes of football across four substitute appearances this term, while both Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have been played in the No.9 role for United.
