Guardino, Liccardo lament
issues their policies cause[hhmc]

I had to laugh when I read Silicon Valley Leadership Groups CEO Carl Guardinos response to the Mercury News lead article on the Aug. 30 front page — “Bay Area exodus: Thousands more fleeing region than arriving from other states.”

Guardino, the Bay Areas resident king of density, states, “We are hollowing out our middle class” and the housing shortage and traffic are our “Achilles heel.”

The king, and his court jester, San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo, push policies and programs, like transit villages and Accessory Dwelling Units, that cause the exact conditions they now lament.
