Ted Murray (Christopher Timothy) could be getting driven to his death in EastEnders as his new romance Wanda (Anni Domingo) whisked him off on a round the world trip. He nearly decided against taking the plunge and heading on the adventure but Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) urged him to grab the opportunity.

He packed things and shared goodbyes with his friends while Wanda finally got suspicious Denise Fox (Diane Parish) on side as she opend up about really liking Ted and wanting some companionship in his life.

The taxi arrived and Wanda climbed in as Ted bade farwell to the Taylors and his best mate Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker). As he looked to Denise for reassurance that he was doing the right thing, she told him he wouldnt need to be wished luck.

With a smile he got into the car but as it drove off, a look of worried uncertainty crossed his expression. Meanwhile, as Denise reflected that she was glad to see him find some happiness, Sheree (Suzette Llewellyn) said she hoped her mum too would find some peace after the court case.

Denise looked stunned as Sheree went on to explain that she had to go to court due to suspicions around the death of her husband but it was all thrown out. As Sheree walked away, Denise wondered if Wanda could be trusted after all.
