Bex Fowler (Jasmine Armfield) has been having a very difficult time on EastEnders in the run-up to when she was supposed to leave Walford for university.
When the day of her surprise leaving party arrived, Bex reached her breaking point.
Heres what you need to know about what happened to her…
What happened to Bex in EastEnders?
Bex hasnt exactly had the easiest year, what with her dependency on ADHD meds back in spring.
On top of that, shes recently been finding it hard to cope with the pressure of her impending move to Oxford for university.
Bex put on a happy face for her surprise going away party, but Lisa (Lucy Benjamin) saw through it and could tell something was up.
She encouraged Bex to tell her mum how she feels and reminded her that its her life shes leading, so she didnt have to go if she didnt want to.
Bex didnt seem to want to hear it however, brushing Lisa off and leaving the pub after a quick speech.
When she was far from the maddening crowd at The Vic, Bex tried to take her own life.
Thankfully she survived, but Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) will eventually feel like shes to blame for her daughters actions.
