It’s Officially Too Cold To Ski In Pyeongchang

The 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang are here, and although the Opening Ceremony doesn’t air until 8 PM ET on Friday, there have already been some mishaps.

According to some athletes and course officials already over in Korea, some skiers have already been forced to toss their skis before competing. Temperatures are dipping so low in Pyeongchang that skis are rendered unusable.

A course worker told Reuters, “You can’t do anything about it but with the cold temperatures, the snow adheres to the ski base and twists it.”

Even the Austrians are having trouble. Alpine skier Marcel Hirscher — who’s expected to medal this year — explained exactly what’s happening to Olympians’ skies.

Every now and then a trade comes along in the NBA that nobody saw coming. On Thursday, the Cleveland Cavaliers made at least three that shocked the association.

Cleveland made a major move over the offseason when they traded Kyrie Irving away to the Boston Celtics in exchange for Isaiah Thomas and Jae Crowder. On Thursday, with the trade deadline approaching, they unloaded them both.

Despite making some disparaging remarks to the media this season, Thomas said he was happy in Cleveland on Wednesday and looking forward to making a run at a championship. On Thursday, he ended up on another team as a backup point guard.

“I’m tired of getting traded,” Thomas told reporters on Wednesday night. “I like it here. It hasn’t been as planned, but I definitely wanna be here. We have a real chance to win a NBC championship and I want to be a part of it.”

Eagles’ Jason Kelce Loses His Mind During Victory Parade Speech [VIDEO]

Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce pretty much lost his mind on Thursday when he took to the podium to speak about the team’s Super Bowl win during the team’s victory parade in Philadelphia.
