We all went wild over the meeting of Thor and Captain Marvels Carol Danvers in the trailer for Avengers: Endgame.
Like, we lost our proverbial. It was brilliant. It was beautiful. It was all wed ever hoped and dreamed of.
The way that Stormbreaker whooshed past Carols face, swishing her hair. The way she returned the icy stare with a smirk and Thor said: I like this one.
So much so, a whole bunch of punters went and got their hearts a flutter and prophesied these two avengers would come together in a, ahem, ~romantic~ manner.

Well, so sorry to rain on your parade, dear reader, but Chris Hemsworth, who plays the Asgardian, has basically shut down any theories of love between the two.
[Im] clutching at straws as I havent seen much, but from the trailer that was released recently Thor and Captain Marvel have a brief interaction, Chris told Metro.co.uk when asked about his most tickling fan theory thus far.
Immediately people said, “ohh theres a relationship!”
I dont really think we have time for a love story in this particular film.
And just like that, a million hearts shattered around the world. What a power couple we could have had, striding forth into the fourth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Hold up, is that an option? For those two to keep the smouldering going in the next chapter?
To that question, Chris merely laughed. What a joker.
Chris was joined by fellow avengers Scarlett Johansson and Paul Rudd on the red carpet of the Endgame fan event in London tonight. They were also appearing alongside their directors, Joe and Anthony Russo.
While Scarlett didnt chat her favourite theory, she did tell us all about that time she found out Thanos was about to Snap away half the universe, calling the move brave.
Where do you go from there? she added of the Russo brothers decision.
