It’s Peyton Manning’s 42nd birthday Saturday, so let’s celebrate it with all the times he looked more like a dad than an elite professional athlete.

Where do you even start with “The Sheriff”? The guy is can absolutely sling it on and off the field. He is the only quarterback in NFL history to win a Super Bowl with two different teams. He singlehandedly made everyone in the country obsessed with yelling “OMAHA!” He’s undeniably hilarious and is just a great guy all around. Peyton is arguably one of the most likable guys to play the game.

Part of what makes him so likable is the fact that he looks more like a regular old dad than a future first-ballot Hall of Famer. He looks like the kind of guy that would be manning (pun intended) the grill at his neighborhood barbecue in a fresh pair of white new balance sneakers and a tucked in t-shirt, while talking about last weekend’s golf trip and cracking corny jokes…

Dolphins wide receiver Danny Amendola was tearing up the dating scene a few weeks ago. But just last month, he seemed to be living in romantic bliss with actress and former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo.

The two reportedly started dating back in early 2016 — right before Amendola went to two Super Bowls with the Pats and Culpo scored herself a Sports Illustrated debut.

Former Major League Baseball pitcher Greg Reynolds was awarded $2 million this week in a civil lawsuit stemming from a fight in 2015.

In January 2015, Reynolds left his home and found 19-year old Domenic Pintarelli naked and trying to destroy his mailbox. The struggling big leaguer approached Pintarelli who then attacked him. Fearing for his safety and the safety of his girlfriend, Reynolds punched Pintarelli in the face. Once the police showed up, they discovered Pintarelli to be on LSD.

The punch ended up fracturing multiple bones in Reynolds’ hand.

The civil suit argument was predicated upon the fact that Reynolds’ career was dramatically altered based on that night.

Reynolds will get the $2 million from his neighbor who hosted the acid party.

According to the New York Daily News, Reynolds said, “The initial shock of the whole event was pretty bad for a while. But you have to pick yourself up and move ..

With the Cowboys agreeing to sign free agent wide receiver Allen Hurns Friday, it appears Dez Bryant’s days in Dallas are numbered.

According to Josina Anderson, the Cowboys have agreed to signed Deonte Thompson to a one-year deal and Hurns to a two-year contract in consecutive days.

Both signings are indicative of Bryant’s murky future in Dallas.

Bryant is currently scheduled to make $12.5 million and would make an additional $4 million if he’s on the team. If Dallas cuts him, the team would save $8.5 million — costing them $8 million this year. Comparatively, if the team keeps ..

The results of my March Madness brackets have me thinking that I might not know as much about college basketball as I thought I did.

There aren’t many things I consider myself an expert on. I know how to shoot a gun reasonably well, have a decent grasp of the spread and power-I offenses, know how to crack a few cold beers and I thought that college basketball was right in my wheelhouse.

Well, my awful March Madness picks have me rethinking who I am entirely. Oh, I’m sure most of you are thinking that I’m overreacting. It’s probably even worse than you realize. My main bracket featured Virginia over Michigan Stat..

The Milwaukee Brewers dropped a super cool recreation of a scene from the hit movie “The Sandlot” late Sunday night.

“The Sandlot” is one of the greatest kids sports movies ever made, and I’m pretty sure every guy in America under the age of 50 has seen it at least once.

Personally, I haven’t seen the movie in probably over a decade, which is way too long. The Brewers shot-for-shot recreation has me thinking that I need to brush up again.

President Barack Obama’s March Madness bracket turned out to be absolutely horrible.

In fact, Obama’s bracket couldn’t have gotten much worse. He picked Virginia and Michigan State in the title game, with MSU winning. Both are bounced from the tournament.

Just because I have more time to watch games doesn’t mean my picks will be better, but here are my brackets this year: https://t.co/ETRchPcZxFpic.twitter.com/gnNXw0Ysxr

The Tar Heels’ untimely loss on Sunday evening marked the end of an incredible run for two Tar Heels in particular on the Carolina basketball team.

Joel Berry and Theo Pinson committed to play basketball at UNC when the university was facing an investigation that could have brought the program to its knees. Then they went on to lead their team through controversy to two straight appearances in the Final Four, the second of which they walked away from with a national championship.

These two players meant the world to Roy Williams, which was clear in his postgame press conference after Texas A&M upset the Tar Heels..
