Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) in Coronation Street hasnt had the best time recently, shes discovered her love interest Jan Lozinski (Piotr Baumann) is an undercover police officer who now wants her to run away with him to Birmingham, but soon that could all be over as Jans dangerous enemies return…
Jan posed as a builder for months in order to get close to a group of people who were human trafficking. One of those who was being trafficked was Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) who was also Seb Franklins (Harry Visinoni) love interest.
Seb noticed Jan acting suspiciously and when he went to the nail salon where Alina worked, he noticed Jan walking out of the salon. The story ended with Jan being arrested and Eileen convinced he was part of the trafficking ring.
When Eileen tells Seb that she intends to run away with Jan he does his best to change her mind but Eileen admits theyve accepted a witness protection scheme. Seb worries when he sees a strange van parked nearby with Polish voices coming from inside.
