Coronation Street fans reckon theyve sussed a major character death is going to take place in upcoming episodes as they believe bosses have given too much away in a spoiler photo.

Earlier this week the soap shared four behind-the-scenes pictures, with one snap showing Ken Barlow (played by William Roache) having a heart-to-heart with Carla Connor (Alison King) and Beth Tinker (Lisa George).

The trio looked particularly forlorn as they gathered in the Barlows front room and now eagle-eyed viewers believe this is because Sinead Tinker (Katie McGlynn) has passed away.

Sympathy cards on the unit and it looks like Ken talking to Beth! observed one Facebook user, as another wrote: Its a sympathy card on the dresser. If you zoom in you can see the cross on it. Sinead is dead.

Panic has also ensued on Twitter, with one fan saying: I hope Sinead hasnt died, it looks like there are cards on the mantelpiece… Beth is at Kens too. This isnt looking good.

Its already been revealed that Sinead will face death as her cancer has sadly returned, leading to a harrowing exit storyline.

Recent spoilers have suggested that the characters horrific ordeal will take place while her husband Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) looks set to have an affair with Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon).

A source told The Sun: Daniel leans a bit too much on Bethany and she him after all her abuse by Nathans gang is brought back up. Theyre both really vulnerable and one minute theyre talking and the next theyre snogging.

Daniel is going to be guilt-stricken over what hes done to Sinead, and hes terrified hes getting his dads worst qualities. Bethany will confide in her family over whats happened to try and come to terms with her own guilt.

Coronation Street continues Monday at 7.30pm on ITV.
