Sinead Tinker has learned the devastating truth that she could lose her battle with cancer over her own actions in Coronation Street.

The mum-to-be became increasingly frustrated as people around her began treating her like glass, but it may have turned out they all had good reason.

She snapped after hearing Roy Cropper comment on her appearance, saying shed begun to look see-through as she grows more pale, comparing her to how Hayley looked towards the end. Complaining of being treated like a lab rat Sinead stormed out and left Roy chastised over his words.

Bumping into Billy she asked him to pray with her and as the two turned to faith to help her heal, she confessed what shed been up to – refusing treatment in favour of alternative medicines. Weighed down by this new knowledge, Billy eventually betrayed her confidence and told Daniel everything.

He explained that as Steffs cancer had drastically spread the chances were Sinead could face the same fate if she didnt start chemo immediately, if it hadnt already happened.

Sinead looked him in the eye and asked if by denying treatment shed made everything worse and the doctors face said it all. Has Sinead inadvertently shortened her own life? And now that Daniel knows the truth, will she be facing the end alone?
