Jenny Connor is one unhinged lady, so declared by the actress who plays her in Coronation Street, Sally Ann Matthews. And fans cant help but believe shes just like her character in real life.

Jenny is somewhat frighteningly sadistic, seeming all normal and calm on the surface but plotting all manner of evil underneath. So its no surprise shes feared by die-hard fans of the show.

So far weve seen Jenny start to unravel over her jealousy for Liz and Johnnys friendship. Shes convinced herself they are having an affair, and after orchestrating the destruction of Lizs phone, offered her a new one with a handy tracking app installed. She even created a profile for Liz on an escort app.

From there, Jenny has been stalking Liz, keeping a beady eye on her whereabouts and making damn sure she keeps her mitts off her husband.

Oh its great. Nobody sits next to me on the train, its great, she said. A friend of mine told me years ago that if youre sat on the train and theres an empty seat next to you, most people hide and you shouldnt, you should [mocks patting seat and grins wildly] so you look like…and they go “oh god no”.

She added that she doesnt take it personally, but instead quite likes that people are too petrified to approach her.

Im so old now that I dont care what people think of me so its quite nice for me when I go about my business people dont come up to me to ask for photographs because theyre all too scared, she confessed.

And with Liz likely in danger from her awful plan.

She teased: You should never know what Im thinking. If the audience ever know what Im thinking then Im leaving, Im off. You should never know, there should always be the element that she could do this or she could do that.

Keep glued to your screens to see just how far Jenny will take her vendetta against Liz.
