Coronation Streets Daniel Brocklebank has become the latest star to side with Ryan Thomas following him punching Roxanne Pallett on Celebrity Big Brother.
The incident, which has seen Roxanne accused of lying and 11,000 complaints to Ofcom, has become the biggest talking point of recent CBB history.
And Daniel, who plays troubled priest Billy Mayhew on Corrie, has even gone so far as to suggest that Roxannes troubling reaction is not something new – and was in fact well known among the cast and crew of Soapland.
Finally the general public are privy to what those of us that were unfortunate enough to work with her in the past already knew.

He joins a host of stars who have spoken out to defend Ryan after playful sparring with Roxy in the CBB house was interpreted by her to be an unprovoked attack that left her with sore ribs.
She demanded to speak to members of the production team off camera, and was left in tears when he wasnt removed from the house.
Roxanne was later slept by herself in the spare room after claiming she felt unsafe around Ryan.
Ryan was given a formal warning for his behaviour, though in the diary room discussion admitted he was confused by the severity of the telling off.
A rep for Roxanne said: Roxanne has no contact with the outside world to make her own statement, however we do know that Roxanne has worked closely with various domestic violence charities due to being a victim of domestic violence herself.
She would be very upset to find out she may have caused offence to others who have been through the same. We cant make any more comment at present until such time as Roxanne is out of the Big Brother house and is able to address this situation herself.
Even ex Chief crown prosecutor Nazir Afzal has condemned Roxannes behaviour, accusing her of setting back work done by domestic violence charities with her actions.

Others claim that she is crying wolf in a bid to get more camera time.
Roxanne tells Ben Jardine that Ryan Thomas intentionally and aggressively punched her on tonights episode, leaving him confused as to whether hes mugging her off or not.
The incident has attracted major backlash, with many viewers, as well as Ryans team, calling for Roxannes removal.
