The good news for fans is that the wait will not be as long as previously expected, with the movie set to hit cinemas two weeks earlier than planned.

Ryan Reynolds has confirmed the exciting news with a tweet of a new movie still.

Here’s the details for the Deadpool sequel’s release, castings, rumours and more.

When is Deadpool 2 being released?

20th Century Fox are bringing Deadpool 2 forward from 1 June, 2018, to 18 May, 2018.

This is because they are pushing back The New Mutants by a year.

The movie will now be released on 22 February, 2019, instead of 13 April, 2018, reportedly so the two movies don’t overlap on theatrical runs.

Deadpool battles ninjas, the yakuza and a pack of aggressive canines as he embarks on a new adventure.

Cable will also be in the film and he will play the straight man to Deadpool’s antics.
