The last we saw of Lauren Branning was her walking away through a churchyard and beyond with baby Louie after abandoning a pretty confused Josh Hemmings. Ever since then, viewers have been wondering exactly where she was walking to – but now we know. And some fans have been reading some deep messages into it!
Following Jacqueline Jossas exit from the show, Lauren has now been confirmed as living in New Zealand once more. Granted, its unlikely that she walked there from the church after Abis funeral but at least the question is finally answered.
Whats more, it has raised the hopes of fans that she and her ex Peter Beale are giving things another go. Has Lauren taken Louie to reunite their small family now? Well, we can but hope but Cora Cross explained that New Zealand has been very good for her granddaughter so she is obviously happy.

Lauren got a staggering two mentions in one episode as Max also confirmed that Lauren was over there – adding that without her and Abi, baby Abi is all that he has left.
There are still many Lauren and Peter fans out there – and they have take to Twitter to express their joy that they may be together again, even if it is off screen.

That counts as a rare EastEnders happy ending, right? Well as close as we can ever hope to get anyway.
Back home, things are a bit less happy as Max and Cora continue their battle for custody. And with Cora having approached Rainie with a cash laden offer to try and persuade her to betray Max, tensions are rising.
Max is unsettled and he told Rainie that if she makes one more mistake, then she will be left with nothing – no baby and no money.
But will this just push Rainie even further into Coras plot?
