Ruby Allen is in turmoil as EastEnders continues tonight as the hazy memories of the night before return to her and she is left filled with confusion and a misplaced self loathing. Having partied to the early hours with Martin Fowlers mates at the school reunion, Rubys fun turned to horror as Ross and Matt took advantage of her drunk and vulnerable state.

Ruby isnt initially of the mindset that she was raped and is blaming herself for being drunk and going home to the flat. But of course, simply going to someones house doesnt constitute consent and with the added element of heavy alcohol intake, Ross and Matt were already on very dodgy ground by wanting more from Ruby.

Elsewhere though, Martin is catching up with Matt and Ross who are boasting about sleeping with Ruby. Martin is concerned by their manner of speaking about women but they give no indication of feeling they have done anything untoward. In fact, their focus appears to be their own lad points for scoring.

After Stacey and ruby have a heart to heart though, it dawns on Ruby the enormity of what has happened to her and Stacey will later encourage her to go to the police. Ruby isnt ready nor sure that she wants to report her ordeal but she goes to the clinic with Stacey so that she can make an initial disclosure and follow it up later if thats the route she wants to take.

Martin is reeling when he finds out that Ruby was raped by his mates but when they discover the allegation, they are full of denial and will work on painting Ruby as a girl who was up for it.

Will Stacey and Ruby have Martins support as his friends fill his head with an alternate version of events?
