Lachlan Whites latest Emmerdale village killing spree has left three characters fighting for their lives. No sooner has he killed con man fake Terry than Lachlan was realising that he had eliminated the wrong threat as those texts kept on coming.

Targeting Liv Flaherty next, bloodthirsty Lachlan disabled the carbon monoxide detector in Mill Cottage and, we can only assume, engineered it so the silent killer gas was filling the house. Robert Sugden was soon feeling groggy and out of it on the couch while Liv was drifting in and out of consciousness – but woke for long enough to call out Lachlan when he came to get Seb to safety.

He responded by chucking her over and knocking her out cold and as he left the two lifeless bodies to die, he thought hed got away with it. But Rebecca soon turned up and seeing the situation in front of her, she made to call an ambulance.

Lachlan stopped her though and she was stricken with terror as he gazed menacingly at her. The next thing we saw was a distressed Lachlan looking with horror at the body bundled in his boot while he also stashed away a bloodied spanner.

He was in the woods, contemplating burying his aunt but this act was getting to him more than the others – which wasnt hard to see as he enjoyed a smirk when he was convinced he had killed Liv.

As he looked regretfully as Rebeccas phone in his hand, he got into the car and sped off to do what needs to be done – so is this it for Rebecca?

Meanwhile, Aaron Dingle returned home to be faced with the worst possible nightmare – the thought of losing the two people he loves most in the world. Lets hope that Lachlan hasnt been lucky in finishing off these two enemies of his – and that they and Rebecca may one day bring him down.

But while we have high hopes for Robert and Liv to survive, we have to admit that things are looking less peachy for Bex…
