As we wildly anticipate the next instalment of Avengers, images of Captain Americas new costume has somehow made their way online.
We wonder how that happened!
Avengers 4 isnt set for screens til next year, but weve seemingly been treated to Steve Rodgers new costume – and its…got…scales?
Theres a lot to unpack here, so shall we?
A fan account on Twitter by the name of MCU News & Tweets wrote on Tuesday: Heres some new (very low-res) AVENGERS 4 promo photos of @ChrisEvans Captain America!
The three promo shots, albeit incredibly low res, yes, seem to match the leaked concept art of Caps uniform that came out recently.

Some have hinted the scales may be swanky vibranium, seeing as he doesnt have his iconic shield right now after dropping it in Civil War and dealt with some claws made by Black Panther in Infinity War.
While were tickled he appeared to be clearly back in the Avengers – has Cap buried the hatchet with Tony Stark and no longer be a Nomad? The star on his chest is there, sure, but so is a small A on his shoulder.
Its got fans of the franchise riled up as they prepare for what may be Captain As last spin around the Avengers pitch.
One said: Was pretty disappointed by Caps role in Avengers 3, though it was understandable. Would love to see him more in A4, especially since it *could* be for the last time.
One couldnt control their excitement as they said: Scale suit + Avengers badge!
Another felt we might get some time travel: So I take it were hitting multiple points in the timeline, then? I could have sworn I saw the original Avengers Cap suit earlier in production.
Some were just a little miffed it appeared Caps beard was well and truly gone, after Chris Evans shared an image of himself noticeably hairless on the set with his beloved pooch Dodger.
Chris looked at the camera, with a knowing Avengers grin, and captioned the post: Senior year. #A4
Something that is becoming quite a talking point for fans is his death – as many prophesise its going to happen for sure. Still, whether he pushes daisies or not, fans are not happy Chris has shaved the mighty beard and theyve made their thoughts known in droves.
