Finn OConnor (Keith Rice) has already been on our screens several times this year in Hollyoaks.

From Diane (Alex Fletcher) paying him a visit, to his altercation in a prison van with Laurie (Kyle Pryor), its safe to say that Finn hasnt been too far from the drama — and hes set to be at the centre of more in the coming episodes, as hes released from prison.

Its been quite some time since Finn was last on the streets of Chester, but that doesnt mean hes been forgiven for his actions — nor have his family — something which he finds out the hard way.

In the coming episodes, he returns home, and Diane is shocked upon his arrival.

In an attempt to keep his presence in the village a secret from Sinead (Stephanie Davis), Diane offers to give her son money in order for him to stay in a B&B.

Finns taken aback and professes to his mum that hes changed and that he simply wants a chance to prove himself to her. The question is: what will Diane decide?

Meanwhile, Lauries funeral takes place, and Sinead takes solace in the fact that theres one less rapist in the world — something which is going to make Dianes recent interactions with Finn a lot harder for her to handle should she learn the truth.

Speaking of the truth: will Diane come clean about Finns release to Sinead? Or will she opt to keep it a secret from her once more?

Mind you, this is Chester were talking about, and secrets dont stay secret for very long in the village, so even if Diane does decide on the latter option, surely its only a matter of time before Sinead discovers that her brothers been released?

One to watch: Tuesday 10th September at 7pm on E4.
