Jaden Smith offers one day vegan food for homeless

Jaden Smith has launched a one-day vegan food truck for the homeless as he simultaneously promotes his new music.

The son of Will and Jada Smith is currently promoting the release of his latest album ERYS, the follow up to his debut, SYRE.

The food truck, called the I Love You Restaurant, is a movement that is all about giving people what they deserve the musician announced on Twitter.

The accompanying video shows paper bags of food being handed out to a queue of hundreds in Skid Row, the area of Los Angeles with one of the largest populations of homeless people in America.

Keep a look out, because this is the first of many says Smith about giving back.

The 20-year-old released a 17 track album on 5 July utilising multi-genre music, like emo rap, trap, electronic and punk rock, creating a narrative around the journey of a man called Erys, the opposite of Smiths debut character Syre, which Erys is the reverse spelling for.

Sometimes I wish I wasnt so emotional, Smith told Rolling Stone magazine. Im glad I showed the world that side because it seemed they liked that side.

While no one can fully understand the mind of Jaden, with his Twitter being a range of philosophical all capitalised tweets, the philanthropic behaviours show Smiths maturity and attitudes towards the current economic background in the United States.

This was reiterated by Smith helping to fix the Flint water crisis in March 2019 by partnering with a local Flint church to launch a mobile water treatment system.

The system dubbed The Water Box, filters out lead and additional contaminants in the water.
