A Quiet Place is set to return with a sequel, and yes – John Krasinski will be involved.
No one could have predicted how much the drama would have taken off when it hit screens earlier this year.
With an action packed horror that plays with the emotions and puts family at the forefront of a compelling plot, it was evidently going to be a hit, and has now now grossed over $328 million (£248 million) worldwide.
And now, just short of three months after its release, A Quiet Place 2 is already in talks.
Co-writer, director and lead role Krasinski is in high demand, with his personal projects and also being the lead protagonist in Amazons Jack Ryan series, he is clearly a busy man.
So when word hit of a Quiet Place sequel, fans sparked concern that the 38-year-old would have to sit out of the movie.

However, it looks as though this will not be the case, as producer Andrew Form revealed to Collider that Krasinski will in fact be involved in the making of A Quiet Place 2.
He said: Oh [Krasinski is] definitely involved. Were lucky on this one. Ive had movies where the studio says to you, “Heres your date. Lets go!” and on this one were not rushing anything, which is amazing. So were gonna take our time, were gonna figure out where to go, but there is no rush on it and were just starting to talk about it.
Were figuring out what everyones involvements gonna be and what the actual next movies gonna be. The first one is so special to us that we really want to take our time with this and not rush anything.
Theres no word as of yet what Krasinskis involvement will be, whether hell be writing, producing or directing the next movie, but he will be involved – and thats all that counts, right?
Form continued to talk about their plans, and how theyre not going to put anything out until they have the perfect plot.

He said: Its easy to rush these and weve made movies in the past where weve rushed them through and weve felt it, and we just dont wanna do it on this one. We really dont. We really just wanna take our time and as long as it takes, it takes.
