Julia Roberts has reportedly been haunted by a ghost on the set of her latest movie.
The Oscar-winning actress is shooting movie Ben Is Back and filmed on scene in a New York cemetery.
However it has been claimed that while Julia was in character as Holly Burns, the mother of the titular Ben, she was ‘pushed’ by a supernatural entity.
‘As Julia regrouped for another take near the tombstones, she suddenly felt someone or something shove her,’ a source close to the set revealed.
Speaking to America’s Star magazine, she added: ‘She quickly turned, but there wasn’t a soul around! Julia hopes it was just a crew prankster having a laugh.’
Little is known about the film but it follows the return of Ben Burns, played by Lucas Hedges to his family on Christmas Eve.
Julia plays his wary mother Holly who over the next 24 hours must ensure that her family does not fall apart.
Metro.co.uk has contacted reps for Julia to determine if it was a rattling chains ghost or the kind that makes clay pots.
