The MCU is becoming an increasingly diverse place – and so it should – but one community that has perhaps not had a great deal of marquee-billing is the LGBTQ+.

Or, at least thats what you thought, as Kevin Feige has revealed that Marvel Studios already has a character from the LGBTQ+ spectrum in its universe – though he did add that more were coming.

Asked by The Playlist if wed ever get a superhero or a character from that spectrum in the blockbuster universe, the boss of Marvel Studio revealed we already had, and that there were more to come.

Its worth pointing out that Tessa Thompsons character Valkyrie is one of the characters Feige said already existed.

Taika Waititi revealed that the character had enjoyed a kiss with another female in the film, but sadly that was cut in the editing stage of the theatrical release.

The other character Feige could refer to may be appearing in Spider-Man: Far From Home, Captain Marvel or the next phase of Marvel films the studio does not plan on announcing until after the next untitled Avengers film.
