Neil Young has claimed that Barclays will no longer be a sponsor for his 2019 British Summertime appearance at Hyde Park.
Taking to his website Neil Young Archives on Tuesday, the singer appeared to accept a victory after previously claiming that the announcement and tour ticket details had been revealed without his consent.
NYA is happy to announce that the Hyde park show will proceed without Barclays as a sponsor, he wrote.
We are overjoyed, so happy to be playing the show!
A statement shared with Metro.co.uk read: Neil Young has made the decision to move away from the Barclaycard presents British Summer Time concert series.
Neil Young and Bob Dylan will play a stand-alone concert in Hyde Park on the same date, 12th July. All tickets will remain valid. The Barclaycard presents British Summer Time concert series remains unaffected and will continue as normal with more headliners to be announced in early 2019.

Barclaycard has told Metro.co.uk they have no comment to add.
It all kicked off when Neil criticised the annual BST festival for choosing a fossil fuel funding entity as a sponsor.
That doesnt work for me, he wrote in a now-deleted post on NYA.
I believe in science. I worry about the climate crisis and am deeply concerned about its massive global ramifications.
I was still finessing the art for the poster and trying to make sure that all the details of the show were agreeable to me. Then, suddenly, someone jumped the gun.
The tickets were put on sale and the announcement was made, all without my knowledge, he claimed revealing he was hesitant to join the line-up because of Barclays involvement.
I learned that the show had a sponsor, “Barclays Bank”, a fossil fuel funding entity. That doesnt work for me. I believe in Science. I worry about the Climate Crisis and am deeply concerned about its massive global ramifications and my beautiful grandchildrens future, he wrote.
Theres no doubt about it, Young added. Its been a massive fuck up!
