The late rapper, who was fatally shot in a Los Angeles shooting on 31 March, made a posthumous appearance in a video with DJ Khaled and John Legend.

The song, which is taken from Khaleds new album Son of Asahd, features John on the vocals while Nipsey rapped throughout the track delivering fitting lyrics about recently seeing life from a birds view.

The clip opens with Nipsey, whos dressed in an all-blue ensemble, reminiscing about his grandmother and the memories hes created with his beloved family.

Los Angeles love, kinda of like Hussle and Boog, Nipsey raps of his long-term girlfriend Lauren London, using her nickname Boogie.

He continued in the song using references to the couples son and his daughter from a previous relationship, with the lyrics: Mani turned 10, Kross turned two.

Earlier this week, when it was revealed that Nipsey would still be appearing on Higher, DJ Khaled confirmed that all proceeds from the song would go to the late Grammy-nominees children.

In a statement shared on Instagram, Khaled said: Recently, I embarked on a soul-searching journey down a road I never thought I would travel in a million years.

It began when a tragedy robbed the world of an enlightened soul, a brother, a father, a partner and my friend Nipsey Hussle.

The hitmaker went on to reveal that just days before Nipsey was killed he shared his energy and positivity with me on a video set for a song called, “Higher.”
